Privacy

This page explains what personal data Northworks Studio Limited collects when you use this site, what we do with it, and what rights you have over it. Written to comply with the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

What we collect

Enquiries. If you email us we receive your names, your wedding date, your venue and anything else you write. We use it to answer you and, if you book us, to run the job.

Analytics. Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is cookieless and does not fingerprint or track you across sites. It records page views and referrers in aggregate. We cannot identify you from it.

Server logs. Cloudflare logs basic technical data when a page loads: timestamp, IP address, requested URL, response code. Security and performance only.

Who we share it with

We never sell personal data. Our processors:

  • Cloudflare, Inc. Hosting, DNS and analytics.
  • Google Email, through Google Workspace.

We may also disclose data where the law requires it.

Photographs of weddings

If you are in a photograph or a film on this site and want it taken down, email hello@wildfellfilms.co.uk and we will remove it.

How long we keep it

  • Enquiries we do not take on: up to two years.
  • Client records and correspondence: six years after the job, as UK tax law requires.
  • Server logs: typically 30 to 90 days.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask what we hold, correct it, have it deleted, restrict how we use it, get a copy in a portable format, object to processing based on legitimate interests, or withdraw consent. Write to us and we will answer within a month.

If you are unhappy with how we handled it you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or 0303 123 1113. We would rather you gave us the chance to fix it first.
